Dental implants in El Salvador, fully coordinated before you fly.
We plan every visit end-to-end: virtual consultation, 3D diagnosis on arrival, a defined treatment window and clear instructions for your stay. 25+ years of implant experience with Dr. Roberto Catalán.

A short trip, a serious clinic.
Dental tourism only works when the destination is easy to reach and the clinic is truly prepared to plan around your travel dates. We built our workflow for both.
Direct flights, short travel
San Salvador (SAL) has direct flights from major U.S. hubs (Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Washington DC, NYC). Most patients arrive in 3–5 hours.
Same standards, lower cost
Premium implant brands, digital planning and sterilization protocols equivalent to a U.S. private practice — typically at 40–60% less total cost.
USD, English-friendly, safe zones
El Salvador uses the U.S. dollar. Our team speaks English and both clinics are in secure, well-connected areas of San Salvador with modern hotels nearby.
Six clear steps, from first message to final teeth.
Every international patient follows the same protocol. No surprises on arrival, no improvisation, no wasted travel days.
Virtual consultation & records review
Send photos and any recent panoramic X-ray or CBCT by WhatsApp. We reply with a preliminary opinion, likely treatment options and an estimated cost range within 24–48 hours.
Send my case →Trip planning & confirmation
We agree on dates, block your surgical slots, share a suggested itinerary, hotel areas near the clinic and airport transfer instructions. You receive a written treatment plan.
Plan my trip →In-person exam & 3D diagnosis
Clinical exam, intraoral scan and CBCT (3D tomography) on site. Final treatment plan, informed consent and confirmation of the surgical date, usually the following day.
Surgery & temporary teeth
Implant placement under local anesthesia (sedation available). For full-arch cases, a fixed temporary prosthesis is delivered so you leave the clinic with teeth.
Post-op review & travel clearance
Post-op check, written recovery instructions in English, prescriptions and emergency contact. Cleared to fly typically 24–48 hours after surgery.
Return visit for final teeth
Once implants have integrated, a second, shorter trip (typically 5–7 days) for the final crowns, bridge or fixed full-arch prosthesis.
How many days should you plan?
Reference times based on typical cases. Your final schedule is confirmed in the virtual consultation once we review your records.
| Case | Trip 1 · surgery | Trip 2 · final teeth | Healing window |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single implant | 3–4 days | 3–4 days | 3–4 months between trips |
| Multiple implants (2–4) | 4–6 days | 5–7 days | 4–6 months between trips |
| Full arch — All-on-4 / All-on-6 | 7–10 days (leaves with fixed temporary) | 7–10 days (final prosthesis) | 4–6 months between trips |
| Full mouth reconstruction | 10–14 days | 7–10 days | 5–6 months between trips |
Same-day loading (leaving with fixed temporary teeth on the day of surgery) is available for eligible full-arch cases. Eligibility is confirmed with the CBCT scan on arrival.
